An unsettling event has occurred within the jurisdiction of the Ratnapur police station, where the bodies of a couple were found in a field, leading to widespread alarm. The husband was discovered hanging from a tree, and his wife was found dead on the field’s edge.
The deceased have been identified as Amit Kumar Indua and his wife, Anju Indua. They had a love marriage around twelve years ago and had two children: a 10-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son. The children’s repeated questions about their parents have added to the emotional distress.
According to family members, Amit, his wife, and their children visited the Mahamaya Temple the previous night. They returned home late, had dinner, and went to sleep. The circumstances surrounding when Amit and Anju left their home in the middle of the night remain unclear. The villagers found the bodies in the morning and alerted the family.
