A concerning incident unfolded aboard the Pushpak Express traveling from Lucknow to Mumbai. Smoke was observed in a sleeper coach near Bhadli station, between Bhusawal and Jalgaon. The incident prompted a temporary halt to the train and caused understandable alarm among the passengers. Preliminary investigations point towards a potential issue with the newer fiber brake liners used in the coaches, which may be prone to such incidents.
While experts downplayed the severity, the train was stopped for about half an hour to assess the situation and take necessary actions. Following the inspection, the train continued its journey towards Nashik.
