Realme has introduced the Realme 15X 5G in India, a new smartphone designed to be budget-friendly. It comes equipped with a substantial 7000mAh battery. In addition to its battery capacity, the phone is IP69-rated for protection against water and dust, and it features a 6.8-inch HD+ Sunlight display. The device utilizes an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.
The phone is offered in three color options: Aqua Blue, Marine Blue, and Maroon Red. The base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 16,999. Other configurations include 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB versions, available for Rs 17,999 and Rs 19,999, respectively. Customers can purchase the phone through Realme’s website and Flipkart.
The Realme 15x 5G incorporates a 6.8-inch Sunlight display with HD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The display offers a pixel density of 256ppi and a peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits. It runs on Realme UI 6.0, built on Android 15, and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. Storage options include up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, expandable to 2TB via microSD.
The camera system on the Realme 15x 5G includes a dual rear setup with a 50MP Sony IMX852 AI shooter (f/1.8 aperture, 5P lens). For selfies, there’s a 50MP OmniVision OV50D40 front camera. The device is equipped with a 7,000mAh battery and supports 60W fast charging.
