Apple is planning another major event for October 2025, following the launch of the iPhone series in September. This event is expected to showcase several new products, including a new iPad Pro powered by the M5 chip, an updated Vision Pro, a redesigned Apple TV, a new HomePod Mini, and an upgraded AirTag. The event also fuels speculation surrounding the launch of the MacBook Pro M5.
Apple’s track record with October events is mixed. They have hosted events in 2021 and 2023, but chose to announce product updates through press releases in 2022 and 2024. The 2021 event unveiled the MacBook Pro with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, AirPods 3, and new HomePod Mini colors. In 2023, the Scary Fast event highlighted the MacBook Pro and iMac featuring the M3 chip.
The new iPad Pro M5 is predicted to be a key product at the event, potentially boasting a dual front camera for both portrait and landscape modes. A refreshed Vision Pro is also anticipated, possibly with the M4 or M5 chip, a new head strap, and a Space Black finish.
The new Apple TV model might feature an A17 Pro or N1 chip, enabling Wi-Fi 7 and Apple Intelligence integration. The HomePod Mini could see improvements in sound and receive a new S-series chip and Ultra Wideband 2.0. The upgraded AirTag could come with enhanced tracking range, improved durability, and more distinct battery notifications.
While the MacBook Pro M5 is in production, the launch is likely to be pushed back to January 2026. Apple is also working on future Mac models featuring OLED displays and slimmer designs. Additionally, a low-cost MacBook and a next-generation Studio Display are expected in late 2025 or early 2026.
