In Raipur, Chhattisgarh, a female doctor fell victim to an unusual fraud orchestrated by two individuals who presented themselves as sadhus. The imposters gained entry to the doctor’s clinic and, through hypnosis, manipulated her into providing them with money. The doctor has subsequently reported the incident to the authorities. The clinic involved in the case is Sudha Suraj Fertility Care Clinic, situated in Shankar Nagar. According to the doctor, the incident unfolded on September 26th around 3 PM. The two individuals, disguised as sadhus, entered the clinic premises. Despite the initial offer of money from the staff, the pair refused the offer, bypassing the receptionist’s attempts to stop them, and proceeded directly to the doctor’s office. They initiated a conversation with the doctor under the pretense of seeking medical advice. During the conversation, they subtly gathered personal details, ultimately hypnotizing the doctor and taking control of her. Leveraging this hypnotic state, they coerced the doctor into transferring Rs 9,000 through UPI, using the account of Paramjeet Kaur. Before departing, they gave the doctor a religious image, some black beads, and a Rudraksha mala. The entire sequence of events was recorded on CCTV. The next day, the doctor examined the financial transactions and the CCTV footage, leading her to the realization that she had been deceived. She immediately notified the police, who have launched an investigation and are actively searching for the suspects.
