The automotive sector is flourishing, thanks to the advantages of GST reforms. Maruti Suzuki, a prominent car manufacturer in India, has achieved sales of 80,000 cars since the commencement of Navratri. The lower GST rates on cars have led to a surge in customer visits to showrooms. The revised prices are applicable until December 31, 2025. Anticipations are high, with projections suggesting that sales figures could potentially exceed one lakh units during the Navratri period.
Maruti Suzuki’s subscription service offers an attractive alternative for car purchases. Customers can access a car with a starting monthly fee of just ₹1,999. This plan covers the car’s cost, insurance, maintenance, and road tax. Furthermore, reduced repo rates have led to lower EMIs, easing the burden of loan management.
Due to heightened demand, there might be some delays in car deliveries. Deliveries were on hold until September 20 and recommenced on September 22. Consequently, several vehicles are currently in transit, and customers should anticipate a brief waiting period.
Significant savings are available on Maruti SUVs. The Brezza sees a price reduction of up to ₹1.12 lakh, with the new ex-showroom prices ranging from ₹8.26 lakh to ₹11.31 lakh. The Grand Vitara is available with up to ₹1.06 lakh off, with new prices ranging from ₹15.78 lakh to ₹19.50 lakh ex-showroom. The Fronx has a price reduction of up to ₹1.11 lakh, with the base model priced at ₹6.85 lakh and the top model at ₹11.84 lakh ex-showroom. The Jimny now starts at ₹12.32 lakh. With the GST cut, the Maruti S-Presso has become the most cost-effective car, with the base model priced at ₹3.50 lakh.
