The ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia has raised global concerns about potential nuclear disaster. This is not just due to preparations for war by Europe and the US, but also because of a potential incident at Europe’s largest nuclear power plant that could lead to nuclear devastation. The war, ongoing for three and a half years, has opened a door to destruction, including nations globally. The war has intensified the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. Russia appears to be avoiding the use of more destructive weapons. The question is, are Russia and Ukraine saving their most dangerous weapons for a larger war? How will they gain ground in the current conflict without using these deadly weapons? The answer lies in avoiding massive, devastating attacks. The Zaporizhzhia plant is surrounded by an ominous silence, foreboding a potential disaster, which the world will witness and experience. The question arises, who wants to cause damage? Is Russia aiming to spread radiation from a nuclear plant, or does Ukraine want to use ZNPP to initiate a global conflict? The situation is unclear regarding who wants to detonate the ZNPP’s nuclear reactor, but preparations for radiation spread are underway. The plant has lost power since September 23, relying on emergency generators to run the cooling systems. Soon these may not function. A major concern is that the power lines may be completely cut off, which would bring the disaster to the edge of a nuclear disaster. This would be like the Chernobyl nuclear accident in 1986 or the Fukushima nuclear plant in 2011. Without cooling, there will be explosions in the nuclear reactors, causing a disaster. If the cooling system of the ZNPP fails, the nuclear reactors will quickly reach maximum temperatures. This could cause the reactors to collapse. This would cause nuclear radiation to spread from 314 square kilometers to 2,827 square kilometers. This could affect Kyiv and Crimea, as well as be carried by eastern winds into European countries. Is this a plan for a disaster like Chernobyl and Fukushima? The plant is under Russian control, and Russia deepened the disaster plot. Evgenia Yashina, the director of ZNPP, claims that the Ukrainian army is increasing the risk by attacking the plant. Constant shelling can damage reactors. The possibility of a massive accident cannot be ruled out. Russia says that the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant faces more danger from Ukraine, even knowing that if a nuclear disaster occurs, Europe will be affected. Why does Ukraine want this? Zelensky has looked for ways to expand the war. Radiation leaks from ZNPP would encircle Russia, forcing Europe and the US to intervene. Also, the ZNPP could be used as a weapon for Russia to seize a larger territory by way of a disaster.
