The ‘Sangh Geet’ album was launched by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday in Nagpur. Bhagwat dedicated the album to the motherland, highlighting that the songs reflect devotion to the motherland and the commitment of life, originating from the volunteers’ experiences. The album comprises a compilation of songs associated with the RSS. Shankar Mahadevan has lent his voice to the 25 songs in the ‘Sangh Geet’ album, with Mahadevan performing 10 songs at the launch. Bhagwat said the RSS has a vast collection of songs in various Indian languages, approximately 25,000 to 30,000 in total. He added that the core of these songs lies in the feeling of dedication, and it is often difficult to trace the composers.
The event saw the presence of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Gadkari hailed the launch as a historic moment, believing that the songs would serve as a source of patriotic inspiration. Fadnavis commented that each Sangh Geet is deeply motivating and offers essential life lessons.
