During this festive season, Mahindra has expanded its electric vehicle portfolio with a special and collectible edition – the BE 6 Batman Edition. The company has begun delivering this model. While the initial launch was intended for September 20th, coinciding with International Batman Day, the deliveries were later scheduled for September 25th.
This vehicle is a limited-edition variant of the BE 6. The initial sales were limited to just 300 units. However, in response to strong demand, Mahindra increased production to 999 units, providing more customers the opportunity to own this collector’s edition. The ex-showroom price of this model is ₹27.79 lakh, which is approximately ₹89,000 higher than the top-spec Pack Three variant.
The design of the BE 6 Batman Edition showcases Mahindra’s focus on detail. The car features a custom satin black finish, enhancing its premium and robust appeal. Contrasting Alchemy Gold-painted suspension and brake calipers further contribute to its sporty aesthetic.
Key design elements include 20-inch alloy wheels, custom Batman decals on the front doors, and BE 6 × The Dark Knight badging at the rear. This edition is designed to be a prized possession for collectors.
The interior of the car matches the distinctiveness of its exterior. It boasts a charcoal leather instrument panel, Suede leather upholstery complemented by gold sepia stitching, and gold accents throughout. Gold detailing extends to the steering wheel, in-touch controller, and the electronic parking brake system.
The Batman emblem is prominently featured on the seats, boost button, and interior elements. The dashboard features a pinstripe graphic, and the infotainment screen displays a Batman welcome animation upon startup. The exterior sound profile also aligns with the Batman theme, adding to the car’s uniqueness.
The Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition incorporates a 79 kWh battery pack. Mahindra claims a range of 683 km on a full charge. Under real-world conditions, even with the air conditioning activated, the vehicle can comfortably cover over 500 km. Beyond its design and theme, this edition excels in terms of performance.
