Raipur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai listened to the 126th episode of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program at Sindhu Palace located in Shankar Nagar, Raipur. On this occasion, he said that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is a powerful medium to connect crores of countrymen, inspire them and bring forward innovations and better works.
Chief Minister Shri Sai, during this time, paid tributes to revolutionary martyr Bhagat Singh and melody queen Lata Mangeshkar on their birth anniversaries. He also extended his best wishes to all the people of the state for the Navratri festival of Shakti worship.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that on this auspicious occasion of Shakti worship, the Prime Minister mentioned the ‘Navika Sagar Parikrama’ of two brave daughters of the country, Lieutenant Commander Dilna and Lieutenant Commander Rupa. Both the officers completed a sea voyage of 47,500 kilometers in 238 days and hoisted the tricolor at the most remote place in the world, ‘Nemo Point’, thereby increasing the pride of the country.
The Chief Minister said that ‘GST Savings Festival’ is being celebrated across the country these days. The reduction in GST rates under the leadership of the Prime Minister is providing great relief to the people from daily necessities to vehicles, agricultural equipment and machines. He said that the Prime Minister calls for a self-reliant India and promoting indigenous products is an extremely important step in this direction.
The Chief Minister said that when we buy indigenous goods, we not only take goods, but also respect the hope of a family, the hard work of an artisan and the dreams of an entrepreneur. He said that the popularity of Khadi products has increased continuously in the last few years and we all should use Khadi clothes and products.
