Volvo Auto India has launched the EX30 electric SUV, with an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹39.99 lakh for those who book before October 19, 2025. This price will increase to ₹41 lakh after the introductory period. Deliveries are planned to begin in the first week of November. The EX30 will compete with rivals such as the Hyundai Ioniq 5, BYD Sealion 7, BMW iX1, Kia EV6, and MINI Countryman Electric in the Indian market.
The EX30, Volvo’s most economical offering in India, will be assembled at the Hoskote plant in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The Indian version incorporates a 69 kWh battery pack, promising a range of 480 km on a full charge. The vehicle is powered by a single rear-axle electric motor, delivering 268 bhp and 343 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 180 kmph.
The EX30 comes with an 11 kW wallbox charger, allowing for a 0-100% charge in 7 hours. The battery is covered by an 8-year or 1,60,000 km warranty. Further warranties include a 3-year vehicle warranty, a 3-year Volvo service package, and 3 years of roadside assistance.
Feature highlights for the Volvo EX30 include 5 ambient lighting schemes, a Harman Kardon sound system, a 12.3-inch infotainment display, a fixed panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, one-pedal drive, wireless charging, LED headlamps with active high beam, Nordico upholstery, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
