The deceased, Triveni Ravi (41 years old) and his elder son Raja Babu (21 years old), were attacked after a disagreement over peanuts. The younger son, Karan Ravi (16 years old), is in critical condition. Reports indicate that a pre-existing conflict between the two families played a role in the escalation. The disagreement arose when Karan Ravi was reportedly found eating peanuts from a field belonging to their relatives. Following an initial altercation, the situation turned violent when the father and elder brother tried to intervene, and they were subsequently attacked.
