A fire broke out at Sadar Hospital in Latehar on Tuesday morning, originating from a short circuit in the Mamta Vahan cell. Hospital employees quickly responded to the situation and managed to contain the fire before it spread.
The fire began when a call center worker switched on a fan, which then short-circuited and ignited. Witnesses reported a moment of panic before hospital staff intervened. Dr. Rajmohan Khalkho, the Civil Surgeon of Latehar, addressed the event, confirming the fire at the hospital’s call center. He also mentioned that despite the incident, there was no reported damage, as the fire was successfully extinguished.
