The public is invited to pay their respects at the Arjun Bhogeswar Baruah Sports Complex (Sarusajai Stadium) on September 21, between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM. The Government of Assam has announced a three-day state mourning period in honor of Zubeen Garg, a beloved cultural icon. No official entertainment or public celebrations will be held during this time. The Education Minister of Assam, Dr. Ranoj Pegu, mentioned that a Cabinet meeting would be held to address the incident and related matters.
