BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has provided his perspective on the Bihar assembly elections, specifically criticizing the perceived ‘jungle raj’ associated with Lalu Prasad Yadav’s government. He also expressed his views on actress Poonam Pandey and aimed criticism at Congress leader Sam Pitroda.
According to MP Tiwari, the people of Bihar are content with the NDA government. He contrasted the current state of Bihar with the situation prior to 2005, highlighting that the earlier period was characterized by ‘jungle raj,’ corruption, and criminal activity. He emphasized that significant development has taken place in Bihar since 2005, including the establishment of modern infrastructure like highways, AIIMS, and airports.
Tiwari believes that the people of Bihar will elect the NDA, as they are politically astute. He referenced the ancient Lichchavi republic as a historical example of electoral processes. He asserted that the people would not choose a government reminiscent of ‘jungle raj’ again.
On the subject of Poonam Pandey’s role in Ramlila, Tiwari commented that if the Vishwa Hindu Parishad has voiced concerns, it deserves attention. He suggested that the Ramlila committee should consider the matter and that a dialogue could lead to a resolution.
In addition, Tiwari targeted Congress leader Sam Pitroda, claiming that Pitroda’s remarks exposed the true nature of the Congress. He implied that Pitroda’s affinity for Pakistan suggests he should consider relocating there, as Pitroda has reportedly expressed feeling at home in Pakistan.
