During a speech, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh praised the Indian armed forces, citing a Jaish-e-Mohammed commander’s confession about the impact of Operation Sindoor. Singh emphasized the strength of India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asserting that no entity could threaten India’s sovereignty. He mentioned that a commander from the terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed admitted that the family of Masood Azhar was targeted during Operation Sindoor in Bahawalpur. Singh rejected any claims of third-party involvement in the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, making it clear that the operation against terrorists wasn’t paused due to external interference. He added that Operation Sindoor would be restarted if any terrorist activities take place. Singh reassured the public that the operation’s status wasn’t a result of external pressure.
