Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai performed the rituals of Lord Vishwakarma at the Chief Minister’s residence in Raipur today. On this occasion, Union Minister of Women and Child Development Smt. Annapurna Devi, State Minister of Women and Child Development Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade and Chairperson of Chhattisgarh State Child Rights Protection Commission Smt. Varnika Sharma were present.
Chief Minister Shri Sai, while saluting Lord Vishwakarma, the first architect and the deity of creation-construction of the world, extended his best wishes to the people of the state. He said that the laborers of Chhattisgarh are the real pillars of the progress and construction of the state. The credit for establishing the significance of labor and the spirit of creation in society goes to Lord Vishwakarma. This occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti inspires all of us to work with dedication and honesty.
