Amidst the heightened electoral activity in Bihar, Minister Jivesh Mishra shared his perspective on Prashant Kishor and his political strategy during a TV9 Digital meeting. Mishra alleged that Kishor intends to undermine the BJP’s voter base to facilitate the formation of a government headed by Tejashwi Yadav. He further claimed that Kishor will not be participating in the elections as a candidate.
Responding to criticisms from Prashant Kishor’s camp, including allegations against Dilip Jaiswal, Mishra refuted the claims, attributing them to self-aggrandizement. He reiterated Kishor’s objective of supporting Tejashwi Yadav’s government. Addressing claims that Kishor’s party is aligned with the BJP, Mishra stated that the election results would provide clarity.
On the subject of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Mishra stated that the ED targets those who are culpable. He asserted that the BJP does not interfere in the ED’s investigations.
Mishra pointed to his party’s accomplishments. He noted that migration from Bihar has decreased, and credited the government with boosting employment and constructing infrastructure, particularly highlighting the work of Nitish Kumar.
In discussing Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s health, Mishra remarked that the workload the CM handles daily would likely exhaust Tejashwi Yadav. Mishra also commented on Lalu Prasad Yadav’s health, suggesting he step back from active politics. He further added that he shares a good relationship with Tej Pratap Yadav.
