During the same period, consumer inflation has grown significantly, with figures around 36%.
Price Evolution: The iPhone 11, introduced in 2019, was initially priced at Rs 64,900. The iPhone 12, released in 2020, came with a starting price of Rs 69,990. The subsequent adjustments in pricing were observed with the iPhone 13 in 2021, which was offered at Rs 79,990, marking an increase of Rs 10,000 from its predecessor. The iPhone 14, iPhone 15, and iPhone 16 retained the price point of Rs 79,990. However, the iPhone 17, which was recently launched in 2025, showed an increase of Rs 3,000, setting the starting price at Rs 82,900.
Pro Series Pricing: The iPhone 12 Pro was priced at Rs 1,19,900 in 2020, with the iPhone 13 Pro following suit at the same price in 2021. The iPhone 14 Pro was launched in 2022 for Rs 1,29,900. The iPhone 15 Pro was released in 2023 at Rs 1,34,900, and the iPhone 16 Pro in 2024 at Rs 1,19,900. The iPhone 17 Pro is now available for Rs 1,34,900.
Pro Max Models: The iPhone 12 Pro Max was priced at Rs 1,29,900 at its debut, with the iPhone 13 Pro Max maintaining the same price. The iPhone 14 Pro Max was launched at Rs 1,39,900, the iPhone 15 Pro Max at Rs 1,59,900, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max at an initial price of Rs 1,44,900. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is now available at an initial price of Rs 1,49,900.
Plus Models: The iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 15 Plus, and iPhone 16 Plus have each maintained a starting price of Rs 89,900, with no changes in their respective costs.
