In Ranchi, a combined delegation representing the Mahanagar Durga Puja Committee, Zilla Durga Puja Committee, and Shri Mahavir Mandal Ranchi met with Chief Minister Hemant Soren to discuss preparations for Durgotsav-2025. The committees expressed their gratitude for the support they have received from the state government and district administration under the Chief Minister’s guidance. They noted the consistent provision of essential services such as electricity, water, and sanitation during Durga Puja celebrations. This year, around 157 puja pandals are being set up across Ranchi and surrounding areas, and preparations are underway. The delegation requested the same level of support from the state government as in previous years. They presented the Chief Minister with traditional gifts, including a Durga idol, a chunari, and an angavastra, and invited him to attend the puja. The Chief Minister assured the committees of continued support for this year’s celebrations, urging district officials and organizers to coordinate effectively to ensure a peaceful and harmonious environment for the puja. He also conveyed his best wishes to the delegation. The Chief Minister highlighted the government’s dedication to developing Ranchi into a model city, with a focus on public convenience and overall cleanliness. He affirmed the government’s commitment to ongoing efforts to improve the city, emphasizing the importance of public participation in its development.
