The young man, Sujit Kumar, from Sirmai village in Saran district, runs a video studio and found himself ensnared by an online game called DBG after seeing an ad on Instagram. He began playing the game, initially winning a significant amount.
Driven by the thrill of winning and the hope of getting rich quickly, Sujit gambled away money intended for a motorcycle. He believed he could double his money, clear his debts, and still have funds left over. However, his luck ran out, and he found himself burdened by a substantial debt.
To escape his financial woes, Sujit left his home and went to Gopalganj. He approached a doctor at a private clinic, explaining his predicament and asking if the doctor would purchase his kidney.
The doctor, surprised by the request, inquired about the reason. Sujit explained that he had lost 200,000 rupees in an online game and wanted to sell his kidney to pay off the debt. Upon hearing this, the doctor alerted others.
Local residents intervened, and after some discussion, Sujit’s family was informed. His parents and relatives arrived and persuaded him to return home. The incident has caused a stir in the local community.
