The Purnia Airport is fully constructed and set for inauguration on September 15th by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This will be the fourth airport in the region. The airport’s launch will benefit those traveling to Seemanchal, bordering West Bengal, and Nepal. Previously, flight services to Ahmedabad were announced. Now, air travel to Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, will be available from Purnia.
