Ahead of the official launch, multiple leaks from supply chain analysts and individuals with production insights are providing details on the upcoming iPhone 17 series. A recent leak originating from a Chinese Carrier Advertisement, shared by tipster Jukanlosreve, has added to the growing body of information.
Apple is preparing to unveil four iPhone 17 models: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The press conference is scheduled for September 9.
The new leaks reveal key specifications for the entire iPhone 17 family.
The iPhone 17 is expected to include a 6.3-inch OLED display and the Apple A19 chip, along with 8GB of RAM.
It will potentially incorporate a 48-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The front-facing camera is expected to be upgraded to 24-megapixels. A 3,600 mAh battery is also anticipated.
The iPhone 17 Air is rumored to be incredibly thin, measuring just 5.5mm and weighing 145 grams. It is projected to feature a 6.6-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution around 2740 x 1280.
The Air model is expected to have a single rear camera, with the same 24-megapixel front-facing camera found on the iPhone 17. It will run on the Apple A19 chip and have 8GB of RAM.
The iPhone 17 Air is rumored to include a 2,800 mAh battery. It is also slated to be the first device since the iPhone 16e to use Apple’s custom C1 modem. The device is expected to have dimensions of 163 x 77.6 x 5.5 mm.
The iPhone 17 Pro is anticipated to have a 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch panel. The Pro models will be equipped with 3,700 mAh and 5,000 mAh batteries, respectively. Both will have a new vapor chamber cooling system and will be powered by the Apple A19 Pro processor with a 6-core GPU. They will both have 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
The leaked pricing information suggests a price increase of about 50$ compared to previous models.
