At 11:01 PM on Sunday night, the Earth’s shadow completely enveloped the moon, causing it to appear a coppery red, showcasing the rare phenomenon of a total lunar eclipse. The total eclipse phase lasted for 82 minutes, from 11:01 PM to 12:23 AM. This was the final total lunar eclipse of the year. The entire lunar eclipse spanned 3 hours and 28 minutes. The last solar eclipse of the year will happen on September 21, 2025, during the new moon.
