A video has emerged from the Bhagalpur railway station in Bihar, showing a man displaying a Palestinian flag and shouting provocative slogans. The video has gone viral, leading to immediate action from local authorities and the police. The footage shows a man, dressed in traditional attire, standing on a parcel trolley. Below, other individuals are heard chanting controversial slogans. The man can be seen waving the Palestinian flag while shouting slogans like “Palestine Zindabad” and “Israel Murdabad,” and even using the inflammatory slogan “Sar Tan Se Juda.” The veracity of the video remains unverified officially.
The video was reportedly uploaded by an Instagram user named ‘Arman Hussain’. This profile includes a video showing the same individual interacting with Rahul Gandhi. Authorities are yet to ascertain when the controversial video was recorded.
Police have started a probe into the incident. Bhagalpur’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Hridayakant, confirmed a thorough investigation is underway. The police aim to identify the man involved and determine his intentions. Any action undermining social harmony will be met with firm action, the SSP stated.
Former Union Minister Ashwini Choubey has strongly condemned the actions. He warned that such elements threaten national unity. He described the flag-waving as a scheme to disturb social peace, drawing parallels to the 1989 Bhagalpur riots. Choubey has suggested that Congress and RJD supporters might be involved. The police are actively searching for the individual and continuing their investigation. The administration has urged the public to remain calm and maintain peace.
