A shocking incident has come to light in the Dhanbad district of Jharkhand, where a woman is accused of murdering her husband due to an affair with her nephew. The woman then buried the body within their home. Following the information, the police reached the location and, with a magistrate present, removed the body on Saturday. Suresh Hansda, a resident of Tilaiyatanr in the Tundi police station area of Dhanbad, had been reported missing for ten days. He was employed as a daily wage laborer. He resided with his wife, Surji Devi, along with their 13-year-old son and a 6-year-old daughter. Doubts were raised by the community and family members when the wife didn’t attend the funeral of her husband, Suresh Hansda. When asked about her husband, the woman started making excuses, leading to the realization that she had murdered her husband and buried him in the house. It is alleged that Surji Devi killed her husband, Suresh Hansda, with a sharp weapon due to her illicit relationship with her nephew. She then buried the body inside the house, covering it with a mud platform. The police, upon receiving the information, arrived at the site and opened the room, where a mound of earth was found. The police, too, became suspicious. The body was then unearthed with a magistrate present. According to Dhanbad Headquarters-2 DSP Dhirendra Narayan, Surji Hansda is responsible for the murder of her husband, Suresh Hansda. The body has been exhumed and sent to SNMMCH for a post-mortem examination; the investigation is ongoing.
