The weather in Delhi has improved, with no heavy rain expected for the next five days. In contrast, Punjab continues to face difficult conditions due to persistent heavy rain. The Meteorological Department has issued a three-day alert for heavy rain in Punjab. There is a possibility of very heavy rainfall at isolated places in Gujarat and East Rajasthan on September 6th and 7th. Following the devastation in the mountainous states, there is another alert for heavy rain in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh until September 8th. Rain is expected in East Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Marathwada, Konkan and Goa, and Central Maharashtra on September 10th and 11th. Light rain with thunderstorms and lightning is expected in these areas over the next 7 days. Rain is also expected in several other states, including West Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on September 7th. Some places in Chhattisgarh are likely to experience very heavy rainfall on September 10th and 11th. Heavy rain is also expected in Assam and Meghalaya on September 10th and 11th. Light rain may occur in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from September 5th to 7th, and in Arunachal Pradesh from September 6th to 9th. Heavy rain is possible in some places in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Mahe on September 5th and 6th. Strong winds are expected in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, and Rayalaseema over the next 5 days.
