Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to the recent controversy involving abusive language allegedly directed at his late mother during a Bihar rally. He expressed strong disapproval of the remarks, targeting Rahul Gandhi of the Congress and Tejashwi Yadav of the RJD for their involvement. The Prime Minister condemned the act of verbally abusing his mother on the Opposition bloc’s campaign stage, noting that such actions dishonor all mothers and sisters.
Speaking to approximately 20 lakh women via video conference, Prime Minister Modi recounted the sacrifices made by his late mother, Heeraben Modi, who worked diligently to overcome poverty and raise her children. “Mother would be unwell, yet she continued working. She would save every penny to buy us clothes. There are crores of such mothers in our country. The place of a mother is higher than that of gods and goddesses,” he emphasized.
