A significant development is on the horizon for travelers from Patna, Bihar, with the upcoming introduction of a Vande Bharat Express service connecting the city to the Nepal border. This modern train will offer passengers a comfortable journey, traversing from Danapur via Patliputra Junction and Hajipur, thereby cutting down travel time. The anticipated travel duration between Patna and the border will be a mere eight hours. This initiative promises to benefit the people of Bihar, and the train is expected to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister.
The Vande Bharat Express will run between Danapur and Jogbani stations. The train will commence its journey from Jogbani in the morning, arriving at Danapur after approximately eight hours. The return journey will originate from Danapur, concluding in Jogbani at night. Considering the passenger traffic and popularity of this route, authorities are planning to introduce a 16-rake Vande Bharat train.
The train will travel from Danapur to Jogbani, with stops at Patliputra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Saharsa, Madhepura, and Purnia. Although the definitive route and schedule are yet to be disclosed, it is anticipated that the train will be launched during the Prime Minister’s event at Purnia Airport.
The Vande Bharat service will facilitate convenient travel for individuals commuting between Patna and Nepal. Jogbani station is situated close to the India-Nepal border, providing an easy pathway for travelers to cross over.
