In response to the evolving global landscape and complex relationships with neighboring nations, India continues to strengthen its military posture. The Ministry of Defence has launched the Technology Perspective and Capability Roadmap (TPCR-2025) to define the future needs and technological trajectory of the Indian armed forces. This document details the plan for the armed forces’ capability development and technological progress over the coming 15 years.
Earlier versions of TPCR were published in 2013 and 2018. The latest iteration, TPCR-2025, comprehensively covers the requirements of ground warfare, the air force, the navy, and joint technological initiatives.
