Air India Express has launched direct flights connecting Ahmedabad and Chandigarh with Bengaluru, aimed at improving travel efficiency. This move offers direct travel options for passengers traveling to Bengaluru, a major hub for both business and leisure activities. Flights from Ahmedabad will operate daily, with a frequency increase to twice daily from September 16. Chandigarh will benefit from two daily non-stop flights. The airline emphasized that Bengaluru is a key domestic hub, managing over 400 weekly flights to 34 cities. Travelers from Ahmedabad can easily connect to 26 domestic and 3 international destinations through Bengaluru. Those flying from Chandigarh have access to 23 destinations throughout South Asia via connecting flights in Bengaluru. The direct flights were initiated on September 1. The airline is also planning to launch a Bengaluru-Dehradun service on September 15. Air India Express offers over 405 weekly flights from Bengaluru, connecting to 34 domestic and 3 international destinations, including cities like Delhi, Chennai, and international destinations like Abu Dhabi.
