India has once again demonstrated its commitment to humanitarian aid by providing assistance to Afghanistan following a powerful earthquake. The earthquake, which struck Nangarhar province on September 1st, caused significant damage and resulted in a large number of casualties. India has dispatched 21 tons of relief materials to Kabul to aid the affected population.
The aid package includes a variety of essential items such as blankets, tents, hygiene kits, water storage tanks, generators, kitchen utensils, portable water purifiers, sleeping bags, essential medicines, wheelchairs, hand sanitizers, water purification tablets, ORS solution, and medical consumables. This aid was delivered via air transport.
