Maruti Suzuki has launched the Victoris, a midsize SUV that will serve as the leading model in the Arena range. The Victoris is engineered to challenge existing market leaders such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate. The SUV will be available in six variants: LXI, VXI, ZXI (O), ZXI+, and ZXI+ (O). The exterior design of the Victoris adopts cues from the E-Vitara model. Notable design elements include slim LED headlights paired with sharp LED DRLs, connected by a chrome strip. Bold front and rear bumpers further augment the SUV’s imposing appearance. The vehicle also comes equipped with 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
The interior of the Victoris presents a 10.25-inch central touchscreen, offering wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration. The audio experience is enhanced by an 8-speaker Infinity by Harman sound system featuring Dolby Atmos technology. The SUV also comes equipped with ventilated seats, an 8-way electronically adjustable driver’s seat, ambient lighting, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless charger, a powered tailgate, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with a heads-up display.
The Victoris will be the initial Maruti model to incorporate Level 2 ADAS technology. Safety features include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, hill-hold assist, a 360-degree camera system, and TPMS. The model has earned a 5-star rating from Bharat NCAP for safety. Powertrain choices include a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid engine, a 1.5-litre strong-hybrid, and a CNG variant with underbody tanks. Transmission options consist of a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic, with the strong-hybrid using an eCVT. An all-wheel-drive system will be offered on select models.
