4 dead, 3 injured and 3 missing in the incident – relief and rescue operations continue

Raipur/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed deep sorrow over the incident of the collapse of the Lutti (Satbahini) dam located in village Dhaneshpur of Balrampur district. In this accident, there is information about the death of 4 people, injury of 3 people and missing of 3 people. The Chief Minister said that this is a very sad and painful incident. I pray to God for the peace of the departed souls and the speedy recovery of the injured.
The Chief Minister said that due to this natural disaster caused by heavy rains, along with loss of life, buildings have also been damaged, crops have been damaged and animals have also been lost. This situation is very difficult and painful for the affected families. The Chief Minister assured that in this difficult time, the state government stands with the bereaved families.
He informed that the district administration, NDRF, SDRF and local teams are engaged with full readiness for relief and rescue operations. Proper arrangements have been made for the treatment of the injured and every possible effort is being made to search for the missing people.
The Chief Minister Shri Sai has directed the district administration that a proposal for approval of ex-gratia assistance should be prepared soon in accordance with the government rules for the loss of life in the incident. Temporary shelter, food grains and other essential materials should be provided to the affected families. Along with this, a detailed survey of the damage to houses, crops and animals should be done and relief should be ensured soon.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is constantly monitoring the situation and is fully committed to providing all possible help and cooperation to the affected families.
