The state of Chhattisgarh is set to receive an additional 60,000 tonnes of urea, a decision made by the Indian government in response to the needs of the farmers. The allocation is a result of the efforts of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. The urea will be supplied in September, with the aim of ensuring the smooth running of the Kharif season. The allocation details are: 20,000 tonnes in the first week, 35,000 in the second, and 5,000 by the end of the month.
