In a move to enhance governance and public service, Delhi’s Chief Minister Rekha Gupta declared that the boundaries of all revenue districts will be restructured to correspond with the 12 zones of the Delhi Municipal Corporation. This decision is intended to improve efficiency and address public concerns promptly, as stated during the inauguration of the District Development Office (DDC) Chairman’s office in Alipur. The Chief Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to resolving public issues and providing timely benefits from various schemes. This includes reorganizing the boundaries of the 11 revenue districts to align with the Municipal Corporation’s zones. Furthermore, mini-secretariats are being created across all 11 districts to increase transparency in governance, along with a focus on establishing clear accountability for officials.
