A shocking case has emerged from the Lohardaga district of Jharkhand. A husband murdered his wife and buried her body inside a room. He then stayed in that same room. The incident came to light when a foul smell began to emanate from the house. Neighbors, suspecting something amiss, informed the local police. During questioning, the accused husband admitted to the murder.
Raghunath Uraon, residing in Bhitada village, Bhandara police station area, Lohardaga district, first brutally murdered his wife, Phoolo Uraon. He buried her body inside a room in the house and continued to sleep in that room. The crime was exposed when a foul smell started coming from the house. Alerted by the possibility of something sinister, the locals informed the police. The police arrived at the scene and apprehended Raghunath Uraon, interrogating him. He confessed to strangling his wife, Phoolo Uraon, and burying her body in a room inside their house.
