Jamshedpur: Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his wife, MLA Kalpana Soren, visited the residence of Ramdas Soren in Ghodabanda, Jamshedpur, on Friday to participate in the “memorial feast.” Ramdas Soren was a former Minister of School Education and Literacy. The Chief Minister offered floral tributes to a photograph of the late Ramdas Soren as a mark of respect. He also spent time with the grieving family, conveying his deepest sympathies. Soren offered prayers for the peace of the departed soul and for strength for the bereaved family to cope with their loss. Hemant Soren and MLA Kalpana Soren spoke with Surajmani Soren, the wife of Ramdas Soren, and their son, Somesh Chandra Soren, along with other family members, offering words of consolation and support.

During an address to the media, Chief Minister Hemant Soren reflected on the gathering at Ramdas Soren’s residence. He noted that Ramdas Soren’s passing came soon after the death of Guruji. He stated that the loss of both figures was immense. The Chief Minister acknowledged the presence of admirers and relatives of Ramdas Soren from across the state who had come to pay their respects. He concluded with a tribute to Ramdas Soren.
