Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, after his visit to Japan, engaged in discussions in Seoul with key figures from the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), including Chairman Jin Sik Yoon and Vice President Kim Ki Hyun. KITA, a prominent trade body in South Korea with a vast membership exceeding 77,000, provided a platform for the Chief Minister to discuss investment, technology transfer, and skill development in Chhattisgarh. Sai presented the state’s industrial policy, resources, and skilled manpower. He highlighted the cultural and historical links between South Korea and Chhattisgarh, seeing the meeting as a crucial step toward fostering economic cooperation. He anticipates that this collaboration will create job opportunities for young people in Chhattisgarh and boost industrial development. The Chief Minister assured that the state government is dedicated to providing investors with a conducive environment, swift approvals, and necessary infrastructure. Chairman Yoon and Vice President Hyun expressed interest in the state’s investment-friendly policies and resources. They indicated that Korean companies are keen on investing in Chhattisgarh and expect to take concrete steps toward partnerships. The Chief Minister mentioned that the cooperation will greatly benefit Chhattisgarh’s farmers, laborers, and local entrepreneurs. He anticipates the creation of thousands of jobs in areas like food processing, electronics, automobiles, steel, and renewable energy. Sai believes that technology transfer will enhance the quality and competitiveness of local industries, further boosting the state’s economy, and setting an example for self-reliance and global collaboration.
