Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai today met Mr. Jin Sik Yun, Chairman of Korea International Trade Association (KITA), the largest trade organization in South Korea, and Mr. Kim Ki Hyun, Vice President. This organization, with more than 77,000 members, is Asia’s leading business platform. On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Sai, highlighting the industrial policy of Chhattisgarh 2024–30, the strength of natural resources and skilled human resources, discussed in detail the possibilities in the field of investment, technology transfer and skilling.
Chief Minister Mr. Sai said, “Our relations with South Korea are not just commercial but also cultural and historical. Today’s dialogue will open new doors for investment, technical cooperation and skill development between Chhattisgarh and Korea. This will provide opportunities for the youth of Chhattisgarh in modern industries and accelerate the industrial development of the state.”
He clarified that the state government is fully committed to providing a conducive environment, quick approvals and necessary infrastructure to investors. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that this collaboration with KITA will give Chhattisgarh a new identity on the global industrial map.
During the meeting, KITA Chairman Mr. Jin Sik Yun and Vice President Mr. Kim Ki Hyun also expressed deep interest in the investment-friendly policies and resources of Chhattisgarh. He said that Korean companies are excited about the possibilities of investment in Chhattisgarh and concrete steps of partnership will be taken in the coming time.
Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that this cooperation will directly benefit the farmers, laborers and local entrepreneurs of Chhattisgarh. Investment in sectors like food processing, electronics, automobiles, steel and renewable energy will create thousands of employment opportunities. Along with this, technology transfer will increase the quality and competitive capacity of local industries.
The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh is not only rich in natural resources, but the youth here are hardworking and skilled. By joining hands with Korean companies, they will get new opportunities for skilling and technical training, which will strengthen the human resource capacity of the state at the global level. This partnership will take the state’s economy to new heights and in the coming years Chhattisgarh will become an ideal example of self-reliance and global partnership.
