The victim, a resident of Maner Azad Nagar, had been reported missing on August 26th, with a missing person report filed at the Maner police station.
According to the family, the girl went to the Mahinawa garden in Ratan Tola village on August 26th to collect wood, but she never returned. Extensive searches were conducted before the missing person report was filed. The police were actively searching for her.
