With Ganesh Chaturthi 2025, the festive season has begun, and car manufacturers in India are offering significant discounts. Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Honda, Tata, and MG Motors are among the brands providing special offers on their popular models, with savings reaching up to ₹6 lakhs on select vehicles. This time of year is often seen as an auspicious period to purchase a car, making it an excellent opportunity for customers to take advantage of these deals.
MG Motors is providing discounts across a range of models. Savings include approximately ₹56,000 on the Comet EV, while the ZS EV and Astor models offer discounts up to ₹1.10 lakhs. The Hector comes with a ₹1.15 lakh cash bonus, and the premium Gloster SUV has the highest discount, potentially saving buyers up to ₹6 lakhs.
Honda Cars India has launched a festive campaign, called “The Great Honda Fest.” The offers include discounts on the City, Amaze, and Elevate models. The City petrol variant offers savings up to ₹1.07 lakhs, the City e:HEV (hybrid) provides customers with savings of ₹96,000. The top-end Elevate ZX offers a discount of ₹1.22 lakhs, while the second-generation Amaze has a discount of ₹77,200.
Maruti Suzuki has also introduced special offers for the festive season. These include a discount of ₹1 lakh on the Jimny Alpha variant, savings of ₹1.1 lakh on the Swift AMT, and ₹1.15 lakh on the WagonR LXI. The MPV Invicto offers a discount of ₹1.25 lakh, and the Grand Vitara SUV comes with benefits up to ₹2 lakhs.
Hyundai is providing deals on its cars, including the Grand i10 Nios, Xcent, Tucson, Alcazar, Creta, Verna, and Ioniq 2024. The Grand i10 Nios and Xcent benefit from an exchange bonus of ₹30,000 and an additional discount of ₹25,000. The Ioniq 2024 provides a direct cash discount of ₹4 lakhs, making it attractive to electric vehicle buyers.
