Chhattisgarh’s Investment-Friendly Ecosystem: Japanese Companies Show Deep Interest

During his visit to Japan, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai addressed the prestigious Investor Connect program held in Osaka and said that Chhattisgarh is a strong confluence of natural resources, talented manpower, and industry-friendly policies. He underlined that India and Japan are connected by a deep bond of trust and shared values. The Chief Minister called upon Japanese partners to participate in the development journey of Chhattisgarh, which is moving forward with innovation, opportunity, and shared prosperity.
During the program, the Chief Minister gave an investment proposal of $11.45 million (₹100 crore) to Sartaj Foods, Osaka to establish a food processing unit in Chhattisgarh. This project will take the state’s food processing sector to new heights, create employment on a large scale, and provide new opportunities to farmers. The Chief Minister said that this initiative will further strengthen Chhattisgarh’s agriculture-based economy.
Under the Business-to-Government (B2G) meetings, Chief Minister Shri Sai also met with Mr. Naoyuki Shimada, President and Representative Director of Morabu Hanshin Company. This company is a leader in the field of skilled engineers, system development and workforce solutions. During the meeting, there was an extensive discussion on the possibilities of cooperation in the field of skill training and workforce exchange. The Chief Minister said that this will pave the way for global opportunities for the youth of Chhattisgarh and make the state’s skill system even more powerful.
On this occasion, the officials of Chhattisgarh presented the competitive features of the state in detail. They said that abundant mineral wealth, an active single-window clearance system, world-class industrial infrastructure, and providing a conducive environment to global investors are the biggest strengths of Chhattisgarh. The Japanese representatives appreciated the reforms being undertaken in the state and the incentive schemes for investors. Especially companies interested in investing in food processing, technology, and advanced workforce solutions described Chhattisgarh as a region of suitable opportunities.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said, “Chhattisgarh is committed to providing an investment-friendly ecosystem where global partners get both opportunities and cooperation. Our partnership with Japan is based on trust and shared values.
