Call history is often required not only for viewing call details but also for important tasks. Whether it’s personal or professional, there are instances where we need to access the call details of a particular number for the past few months. If you’re a Jio or Airtel subscriber and want to see your call history for up to 6 months, you can do it yourself. The best part is that it won’t cost you anything; it’s a free service.
**Jio Users: Step-by-Step Guide**
Begin by installing the MyJio App. Log in using your Jio number and the one-time password (OTP). Within the app, find the ‘My Usage’ or ‘Usage Details’ section. Here, you can easily view details related to calls, data usage, and SMS. You have the ability to select specific dates, allowing you to view your call records from the last 6 months.
To request your call history via email, send an email to Jio’s customer care at [email protected], including your phone number, name, and the desired time frame (e.g., January to June 2025). The call details will then be sent to your email address promptly.
**Airtel Users: Your Action Plan**
Open the Airtel Thanks App on your phone. After logging in using the OTP, navigate to ‘Manage Account’ and select ‘Usage Details.’ This section allows you to view details of calls, SMS, and data. You can download the history based on daily or monthly periods.
Alternatively, you can call Airtel customer care at 121 and request that your call history report be sent to your email. You will be asked to confirm your email address.
**Important Reminders:**
Make sure the number is linked to your Aadhaar/ID to view call history. Most service providers only keep call history for a maximum of 6 months. The call history includes the number, date, time, and call duration, excluding call recordings. Retrieving someone else’s call history is against the law.
