For the convenience of female travelers celebrating the Teej festival, the railway department has implemented special provisions. A fast MEMU train service has been established, operating between Raipur and Anuppur. This service will be available on August 24 and August 28. In addition, a Teej Festival MEMU train will also be operational between Raipur and Tado ki on August 25 and August 29.
The Raipur-Anuppur Teej Festival MEMU train, identified as train number 06803, will commence its journey from Raipur at 4:50 AM. The primary goal of this effort is to offer safe and comfortable travel options for women during the festival. The influx of passengers throughout the state during the Teej festival prompted the railways to introduce these extra trains to handle the increased demand and improve passenger experience.
