Mayank Singh, a criminal with alleged links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and the notorious Aman Sahu gang of Jharkhand, has been arrested in Azerbaijan and brought back to Jharkhand. He is accused of orchestrating several major criminal activities in Jharkhand from abroad, including murder, extortion, and firing incidents. Following months of effort and legal procedures, the Jharkhand Police and ATS team achieved this success.
Mayank was arrested in Baku, Azerbaijan last October. Jharkhand ATS SP Rishabh Kumar Jha stated that Mayank has connections with other gangsters and is being interrogated. He will be presented in a Ramgarh court, and the police will seek custody. The authorities hope to bring back other criminals residing abroad soon through extradition or deportation.
