Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai began his visit to Tokyo with a visit to the Asakusa Temple, an ancient and significant landmark. He sought blessings for the well-being and prosperity of the people of Chhattisgarh. The CM then led a delegation to meet with Kayo Ito, the CEO of NTT Ltd, a global leader in IT infrastructure and digital solutions with a substantial international presence.
The meeting focused on exploring investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh, specifically in technology-based sectors. The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of developing a robust digital ecosystem within the state. NTT’s expertise in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital transformation was a key point of discussion.
Later, the Chief Minister participated in a dinner hosted by the Indian Ambassador to Japan, Sibi George. The discussions at the dinner centered on fostering connections between Indo-Pacific countries through trade and industry, with an emphasis on economic stability, trade security, environmental balance, and industrial advancement.
CM Sai emphasized the potential for collaboration between Japan’s advanced technological capabilities and India’s skilled workforce, leading to strong industrial partnerships. He also expressed interest in strengthening cultural ties and promoting Chhattisgarh as a desirable tourism destination for Japanese travelers.
