India’s Zupee, a leading skill-based online gaming platform, has eliminated its real-money gaming options, a move triggered by the Online Gaming Bill. The bill, which has been approved by both parliamentary houses, outlaws all forms of games where monetary stakes are involved. Despite the change, users can continue to play free games on the platform. Zupee, established in Gurugram by Dilsher Singh Malhi and Siddhant Saurabh, has made a substantial impact in the real-money gaming market. A representative from Zupee announced the shift, emphasizing the platform’s dedication to delivering free, enjoyable, and safe gaming experiences to its 150 million users. Popular free games like Ludo Supreme, Ludo Turbo, Snakes & Ladders, and Trump Card Mania will remain available. The Online Gaming Bill 2025 aims to foster online social games and esports, incorporating regulatory and legal frameworks.
