Chhattisgarh delegation led by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on a visit to Japan and South Korea
Launch of Global Outreach Mission
Raipur, At the invitation of the Indian Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), Government of India, a high-level delegation led by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai left today on an official visit to Japan and South Korea. The purpose of this visit is to establish Chhattisgarh on the global investment map. In Tokyo (August 22–24), the delegation will participate in Investor Connect sessions and business meetings with Japanese industrialists, trade associations and investors. After this, Chief Minister Shri Sai will participate in World Expo 2025 in Osaka (August 25–26) and discuss investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh with various stakeholders. The final phase of the visit will be in Seoul (August 27–29), where investor round table meetings, meetings with top Korean companies and trade associations, and sector-specific dialogues will be organized.
Focus on Chhattisgarh at World Expo 2025
At the World Expo 2025 held in Osaka, Chhattisgarh’s rich heritage, culture of innovation and emerging future-oriented sectors will be presented to the global audience through the Chhattisgarh Pavilion under the India Mandapam. The pavilion has been designed with the aim of showcasing the unique identity of the state. It includes major focus areas such as industrial development, renewable energy, information technology and sustainable development. Officials said that this exhibition will present a glimpse of Chhattisgarh’s transformation and future aspirations to the whole world.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai will directly interact with industrialists, trade associations and global investors of Japan and Korea with the aim of establishing long-term partnerships, opening new business channels and promoting knowledge exchange in the field of technology and innovation.

By participating in one of the world’s largest platforms for innovation and collaboration, Chief Minister Shri Sai will use this opportunity to attract investment in sectors such as steel, mining, clean energy and startups. This mission reflects the state’s proactive initiative, which aims to make Chhattisgarh a preferred destination for global investors and open up new opportunities for economic development.
