In preparation for the festive season, Indian Railways has unveiled substantial plans for Bihar. The railway network will introduce 12,000 special trains to manage the increased passenger traffic during Diwali and Chhath Puja. Additionally, passengers will receive a 20% discount on their return journey tickets. This discount offer is available to travelers who book their return tickets between November 17th and December 1st, having traveled between October 13th and 26th.
The new train services will encompass the Amrit Bharat Express and the Buddha Circuit trains. These trains will connect key destinations, including routes from Gaya to Delhi, Saharsa to Amritsar, and Muzaffarpur to Hyderabad. The Buddha Circuit trains will establish connectivity across Vaishali, Hajipur, Sonpur, Patna, Fatuha, Rajgir, Natesar, Gaya, and Koderma. Furthermore, a Vande Bharat train will operate from Purnea to Patna, offering an improved travel experience.
